The film follows concerned citizens living at the frontiers of extreme oil and gas extraction. To the Ends of the Earth brings forward the voices of those who not only denounce the rise of extreme energy, but also envision the new world that is taking shape in its stead: a future beyond the resource pyramid, a post-growth economy.

Join members of Herefordshire Green Network after the screening to discuss the topics arising in the film and to find out more about green energy.

So what is a seed swap ? Gardeners will have the chance to contribute seed, as well as to help themselves too. So, you bring seed that ,either you have grown and collected, or if you have surplus commercial seed from the year before, you then help yourself to what you may need. All seed will be laid out on a table. If you don’t bring any seed of your own you can still help yourself but we do ask you to make a donation. A box will be provided. As a change from campaigning and elections, join us for a pleasant walk and tea in this lovely border country between Herefordshire and Worestershire on Sun 18th June. A scenic route along the River Teme, with Kate telling us about the history of farming and landscape use in this area. Meet at 2.30pm at Colbridge Cottage, Whitbourne WR6 5RT. tel. 01886 821978.

All walks, bike rides, teas etc. are fundraisers for the Green Party, as well as being pleasant social occasions, and we suggest a minimum contribution of £3.00.
