Can you spare a few hours this month to help the Leominster Green team deliver the newsletter to every home in the town?
The team is under pressure following recent electoral success. The political upheaval at Herefordshire Council has propelled two members of the team (Trish Marsh and Felicity Norman) into the new cross-party cabinet where they have accepted demanding briefs. Their Leominster Green colleague Jenny Bartlett has accepted an important role as vice-chair of Adults & Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee. All three are also busy town councillors. A further three Leominster Green women activists are getting to grips with town council responsibilities following election success in May.
“Green activists who have the courage to put themselves forward for election and work so tirelessly in their roles deserve our support,” said the team’s media officer, Pete Blench. “Good ward newsletters are crucial to the work of our councillors. I am keen to hear from supporters who could help distribute the summer newsletter for the amazing Green women of Leominster. There is also scope for supporters to adopt a delivery round over the longer term.”
